Kodak Box Camera No 00 Cartridge Premo Cardboard Leatherette United States Black 1916. This antique piece is famously known as the smallest box camera ever manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company's Rochester Optical Division. Designed to shoot unperforated 35mm film stock, the design pulls completely apart for loading by disengaging the side winding key. The historical text stamp on the internal face remains clearly legible, and it includes its genuine protective outer case shell. Incredibly rare piece of photographic history for any collection.
Highlights;
• Paper Film Gate: Internal friction-loaded leaf spring tensioner designed to keep early paper-backed film stock perfectly flat against the focal plane
Measurements: 8cm high, 6.5cm long & 6cm wide.
Condition Report: Fair pre-owned condition for 100+ years old. Some scuff, markings & rubbing on both pieces. Gentle handling; to remove the inner mechanism, hold it upside down and pull the winding key around then outward while turning until it releases, it does release so not the best idea to try and open it whilst holding it up in the air.
Shipping: Carefully wrapped and boxed for safe delivery. Combined postage is also available.
