Both in working condition - see video. Some minor bumps on the sabers from play - see photos. Batteries are not included.
The sabers extend (the 'tip end' protracts backwards leaving the static main body of the light saber and the handle as shown in the photos (I am trying to say that the sabre blade does not fully retract into the handle - it is designed this way).
The sabers can be separated or attached together as shown.
Each saber requires x3 AAA batteries (so 6 in total) - never use old batteries found in a draw as they rarely will all work causing the sabres either not to work at all or to perform poorly.
