Captured N.Korean armband / mini-flag from the Korean War era.

While modeled after the national flag introduced in 1948, items of this specific size with a central vertical seam or loop structure were worn as combat identification armbands by North Korean troops or Chinese People's Volunteer Army (PVA) forces.
Most likely a vet bring-back.
Rough cotton canvas construction made of two pieces.
Measures 6" x 11". 
Light general wear and minor fading. 
No holes or tears.
