D.W. GRIFFITH'S THE BIRTH OF A NATION

Uncommon souvenir booklet published by the film's production company in 1915 to celebrate what many regarded as the greatest film ever made up to that time. The text includes notes on director D.W. Griffith's career, the plot of the film, production notes, and tributes by film critic Rupert Hughes and author Thomas Dixon.

This copy shows its age but remains in serviceable condition. There are modern tape repairs along the spine, as well as an older repair to one page, as seen in the third and fourth photos; also several smaller tears and other general signs of age and use. No writing or significant stains.

Quite rare and seldom found at this low price.

Softcover, 9.5" X 11.75", 20 pages. Ships promptly & securely.
