The Allen-Bradley 5094-AENTR is a FLEX 5000 EtherNet/Industrial Protocol (EtherNet/IP) adapter designed for connecting FLEX 5000 Input/Output (I/O) modules to a Logix 5000 control system over an Ethernet network. It facilitates high-speed data transfer between the controller and local FLEX 5000 I/O modules while providing module-side power through its removable terminal block. The adapter mounts as the left-most module on the DIN rail, uses two Registered Jack 45 (RJ45) Ethernet ports, and supports up to 8 FLEX 5000 I/O modules. Rockwell documentation identifies the included hardware as the adapter with a screw-type removable terminal block and an end cap.
