iPod Classic 7th Gen Refurbished Modded 256GB iFlash 2000mAh Battery NEW Housing
Please note the iPod Universal Dock shown in images will not be included.
A genuine USB to 30-Pin Dock Connector cable will be included, as pictured.
This is a fully refurbished iPod Classic, which has had the following new parts:
- iFlash µDual with a Samsung EVO Select 256GB microSD card
- New 2000mAh battery, offering much longer battery life than the original 550mAh battery
- New Front Housing, Rear housing (thin), and Click Wheel in a silver/black style not originally offered by Apple
- New Hold Switch and Headphone Jack, and Dock Bezel
I've left the peel on the new rear casing to make sure there are no scratches to the casing before shipping :)
I would also like to note that the rear housing won't have a matching serial number to the iPod, as it is a replacement
I have tested the following to ensure functionality of the iPod:
- Shuffling my personal music library of ~2500 tracks
- Charge and Sync over USB, and charging via FireWire
- All buttons, the click wheel and hold switch work as expected
- Audio Output via the headphone jack, and Dock Connector via adaptors, including the Apple Universal Dock
- Playback controls via an inline remote, and accessories (Apple FM Radio Remote)
This model of iPod will be able to sync approximately 50,000 tracks without issues, due to original software limitations. RockBox can be used to remove this limit, however I have personally not used RockBox and will be unable to support with that.
