Manufactured by the Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey, and features their official "W & H CO." maker's mark stamped clearly on the reverse side.

• Front: Displays the prominent stylized "A" enclosing the word "BOMB", superimposed over the classic U.S. Army Corps of Engineers logo. Above the design reads "MANHATTAN PROJECT".

• Back has vertical kick pin with clasp

• Service Tier: The bronze variant was awarded to vital civil and military workers who contributed between 6 and 18 months of dedicated service to the development of the atomic bomb.
