Battery Runtime Calculation

Formula
Battery Runtime (hours) =
(Battery Capacity in Ah) × (Battery Voltage in V) × 0.8 × 0.93 ÷ (Load Power in W)

Example
A 12 V, 60 Ah lead‑acid battery powering a 100 W bulb:

Runtime = 12 (V) × 60 (Ah) × 0.8 × 0.93 ÷ 100 (W) = 6.14 hours

Parameter Definitions

ParameterValueDescription
Battery voltage12 VNominal voltage of the battery
Battery capacity60 AhRated capacity (amp‑hours)
Discharge coefficient0.8Usable capacity factor
Inverter efficiency0.93AC conversion efficiency of the inverter (typical constant)
Load power100 WRated power of the connected device (bulb)

Conclusion
Under the stated assumptions, a single 12 V / 60 Ah lead‑acid battery can continuously operate a 100 W bulb for approximately 6.14 hours.

Operating Precautions

  1. Always use the battery cables supplied with the unit; otherwise, the rated power output cannot be guaranteed.

  2. Power-on sequence: Turn on the inverter first, then connect the load.
Power-off sequence: Disconnect the load first, then turn off the inverter.

  3. Do not connect mains/utility power to the output port. Do not reverse the battery polarity when connecting loads.

  4. Do not overload the inverter with household appliances. For inductive loads such as motors, pumps, and air conditioners, multiply their rated power by at least 3 times. The resulting value must not exceed the inverter's power rating.

  5. If the red indicator light is on and the buzzer sounds, check for overload and verify that the battery is fully charged. Regardless of whether the battery is new, charge it for at least 3 hours before attempting to use the inverter again.

  6. When the inverter is not in use, turn off the inverter switch.

  7. Whenever the inverter emits a buzzer alarm, be sure to first disconnect the load, then turn off the inverter switch, and only then inspect and troubleshoot the issue.
