These gas springs are used to lift and support the upper cover in B1-format Screen CTP systems.

We have used them as replacements for the original HITACHI 40N2 springs about a dozen times over the past 4–5 years. They have performed reliably.

🔎 Please carefully check the part number on your machine — although 40N2 is standard, some rare B1-format Screen CTP models may use different gas springs (e.g., HITACHI 40P2 or other).
