Vintage hand-carved wooden chess set with matching folding storage board. This complete set includes all 32 carved chess pieces and a beautifully crafted board measuring approximately 15.75" x 15.75" when open.

The board features decorative carved borders and felt-lined interior storage to keep the pieces organized. The chess pieces are individually hand carved with attractive detailing, including distinctive painted bishop finials and carved bases that give the set a unique folk art appearance.

Condition:

Complete 32-piece chess set.

One piece has a small chip in the carving (pictured).

Two pieces are missing their original bottom pads.

Board has light surface scratches and normal vintage wear consistent with age and use.

Opens, closes, and stores peoperly, however the clasps are broken off (see pics).
