This stylish telephone / side table was manufactured by Vanson in the UK in the 1960s. Vanson was one of the top brands producing furniture for Heal’s London.

Vanson were a British based Furniture company led by the Designer Peter Hayward. They had a long established history of producing high quality furniture using a range of different timbers.

This particular two tier table dating from the early 1960’s is constructed with Walnut table tops and solid Beech legs and its design with the the smooth contours and curved edges, was clearly influenced by Hayward’s Scandinavian influencers of the era.

In good sturdy vintage condition with minimal signs of age related wear.
