Early 20th Century American Mountain Landscape Oil Painting

An original antique oil on canvas depicting a beautiful mountain landscape with layered blue ridges, evergreen trees, and a winding river or valley below. The painting is housed in its original period gilt wood frame and displays excellent color, depth, and brushwork.

After removing the frame for inspection, the painting appears to retain its original stretcher and tacked canvas. There is what appears to be an indistinct painted monogram or signature in the lower right corner, though it cannot be confidently identified.
