This is for a lovely old Victorian sewing box showing the iconic Crystal Palace building of The Great Exhibition held in 1851. It states it is the 'Interior looking West' and has good detailing to the fountain in the foreground. The box has the original pretty paper decoration and it has a hinged lid. Inside are three compartments for needle packets and it is in really nice condition with minimal wear as you can see. It measures 60mm (2.3") by 37mm (1.3") by 20mm (0.75") tall.
