High Speed Steel (HSS)

Up-cut tools provide clean finish on the bottom of the material that has been cut. Down-cut tools are recommended when chip removal is directed down to protect the finish of the top of the material that has been cut. Upcut bits eject the chips upward, downcut bits eject the chips downward.

To be used only on CNC machines and routers with automatic feeding. The spiral ‘O’ flute sharpening/finishing process increases feed rates, allowing for more linear feet routed in less time.
