I have played parts of all four tapes - they are the usual VHS standard so expect inconsistent sound upon occasion and some flickering here and there. For the half hour or so that I watched segments of all tapes, all played without me not being able to watch or discern what was being said. I have to say..these two mess about ALL THE TIME it seems they really get off on trying to throw the other off or ad lib there way through all of it...I did a quick video of Ade giving Rik a round of applause (with the help of the entire audience) when he 'finally' said something from the script. Brilliant!

The extra tape is a compilation of Bottom Live but also has an interesting documentary about Guest House Paradiso.

For international buyers - these are UK PAL cassette tapes. I can't say they will work on machines not designed for UK tapes - I say this as I know Ade & Rik are very popular particularly in the States so I would not want you to buy only to find it wont work on your machine. With the greatest respect, that would be on you and not on me.

All the tapes look okay although I did note some yellowing of the plastic in and around the spools. Additionally, the cardboard 'Fried Chicken box' is aged and has a couple of tears. I have added a little clear tape to the inside as a partial repair but it is not really holding due to the age of the cardboard.
