Generally excellent to very good condition. Mounted on wooden bases and housed in a period French cigarette box.

These rare paper soldiers were most likely made in Strassbourg and probably date to the 1860s. They depict Turcos of the imperial guard in the uniforms of the 1850s, under Napoleon III.

I think they’re exquisite and display very well.
