Vintage 1969 Apollo 11 “Man’s First Landing on the Moon” First Day Cover commemorating one of the most historic achievements in space exploration. This cover features the 10¢ “First Man on the Moon” U.S. postage stamp with a September 9, 1969 Washington, D.C. First Day of Issue cancellation, along with an additional July 20, 1969 “Moon Landing U.S.A.” commemorative postmark.


Included is the original typed letter from The Complete Book Store in Los Angeles, dated September 9, 1969, signed by General Manager Don Farley, which accompanied the cover when it was mailed to the original recipient. A wonderful piece of Apollo 11 and NASA memorabilia with excellent historical appeal.


Condition is consistent with age and prior mailing. The cover and letter show light handling and storage wear, with some handwritten notations present on the envelope. Please review all photos for details and condition.
