Description
Gorgeous set of 6 Persian studio glass tumblers/cups from the 1960s/70s. All hand-blown as shown by the ground pontil at base, and lack of casting seams. Each glass differs slightly in size/shape/weight due to being hand-blown. They're not a purely clear glass, they have a stormy, almost grey tinge, with deep purple/brown applique. The outside lower portion of each glass features an abstract applique. It's almost in the style of a chain. These tumblers are entirely unique, and have great quality in style and craftsmanship. They are unsigned. Very solid, they weigh 350-420grams each.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Consistent with being hand-blown, there are bubble-like and lumpy inclusions/irregularities within the thick glass, and several that have textured/can be felt on the surface. They have light surface scratches and marks, commensurate with age and use. There are scratches and wear to bases as expected.
Please look at the photos carefully as they form part of our description.
