Antique figurative, or anthropomorphic, wooden spoon, created by the Ifugao tribe of northern Luzon, Philippines. 

Carved from a single piece of native timber, its handle is shaped into a double figure known as bin-nullol, or household guardians, meant to usher in a good rice harvest. 

Here, the mirror-image bin-nullol embrace while standing, each with a leg lifted and bent .

Dates to late 19th century or early 20th century
