This sharply focused formal portrait shows a United States Army captain standing outdoors in full dress blue uniform. He wears a dark blue officer’s coat with brass buttons, white shirt, black bow tie, light-blue trousers with gold side stripes, gold sleeve braid, and polished black shoes.
