Description

Soviet lens Industar-23U f4.5/110 mm, M39 mount, for photographic enlargers, manufactured in the USSR.

---------------------------------

Since the lens is designed to work with a photographic enlarger, the I23U 4.5/110 does not have a focusing ring or a filter thread. Using the I23U 4.5/110, you will not be able to focus. The lens has an M39 mount thread.

Industar-23U F4.5 110 mm can be used for macro photography, since focusing in macro photography is not particularly important, and focusing can be done by moving the camera closer or further away from the object.

In addition to the main version for aerial photography, small batches of Industar 23-2 versions for small-format Zenit cameras and Industar-23U for photo enlargers were produced.

"Industar" is a trademark of objective anastigmats, produced in the USSR since the early 1930s in various designs and with different optical parameters. A common feature of all "Industars" was the basic optical scheme of the "Tessar" type, consisting of three components, the last of which, unlike the triplet, is two lenses glued together. Most lenses of this type belong to the normal group and were used as standard lenses in most Soviet cameras, as well as in photo enlargers, movie cameras, aerial cameras and other equipment.
