This book is in very good condition.  It was printed by George Allen & Unwin.

Chess games which end in draws are not often subject to exhaustive published analysis and there is a tendency to assume that they must be dull and boring.  Nothing could be further from the truth, as this book shows.  They can be as exciting as games which end in decisive results and if you want proof, just look at the 70 examples in this book.  They are taken from tournaments spanning almost 100 years.  All the great names are here from Nimzovich to Karpov, and the author's lucid analysis will be of benefit to any player of chess no matter what level.
