Vintage Francie Corduroy Cape #1764 Complete Blue Poncho & Japan Boots 1970

Up for auction or buy-it-now is an authentic, original Vintage Francie "Corduroy Cape" Outfit (#1764) produced by Mattel from 1970–1971. This is the documented white faux fur trim variation.

The set is complete with both the original hooded corduroy poncho and the matching soft blue-gray plastic majorette boots.

Condition Details:

* Cape: The vibrant turquoise wide-wale corduroy is clean and plush with well-defined ribs. The white faux fur trim remains fluffy. The inner cloth black-and-white fabric tag is present, crisp, and clearly reads "FRANCIE™ / © 1965 MATTEL". The gold elastic neck loop and both gold bead closure buttons are intact. There is minor, typical fraying along the internal blue nylon lining seam (see photos).

* Boots: Both boots are structurally sound with no splits or cracks. The bottom of the heel on the boot is clearly stamped with the authentic arched "JAPAN" hallmark. The lower boot shows a small amount of surface grime/smudging on the shaft that could be gently cleaned by the new owner, but they display beautifully as-is.
