This is an old antique cast metal brass and iron plunger-type call for service bell with a milk glass base. The item is not marked by the maker (see photos). The item is antique. The item is from an estate liquidation. This item in total measures about 5.5 inches high, and it is about 3 inches wide at the square glass base. The bell has a large chip on the underside of the glass base; the item has tarnish, plating finish wear and loss, and signs of wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
