Based on authentic control panel instruments, Junghans' Pilot Automatic collection emphasize the cockpit character of the watch with its optimum readability, crucial for pilots and watch lovers alike. This Pilot Automatic features a 43.3 mm stainless steel case with a domed matte green dial that has a lacquered effect under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has silver-tone and luminescent sword hands with Arabic numerals as hour markers. Surrounding it is a bi-directional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale, ergonomically designed with 12 concave notches providing exceptional grip and a unique look. This is complemented by an oversized crown, small seconds subdial at the 6 o'clock position, date window at the 12 o'clock position, and historical Junghans lettering. Fitted with a green leather strap and secured with a stainless steel signed buckle. The solid caseback is held by 7 screws and engraved with an aviation-themed image which encases the caliber J800.1.6, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour generating up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet.

Started as a watch component factory under the name "Zeller & Junghans", It was founded by Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law on April 14, 1861. By 1903, it became the largest watch and clock factory in the world producing over 3 million timepieces annually.
