This earthenware teapot was made by Wedgwood circa 1880 and bears the factory mark on the base .
It is from the late Charlie Oxford collection .
It is decorated in the aesthetic movement style with blue transfer prints of the basket pattern , which is named on the base .
It stands at 6 1/2" high and measures 7 1/2" in diameter from the spout to the handle .
There are some chips to the undersides of the cover and a fine crack on the top edge of the teapot of about 3/4" in length , there is some glaze crazing , but not all over .
