This porcelain teapot was made by Miles Mason circa 1805 and bears an impressed M Mason mark on the footrim.
It is from the late Charlie Oxford collection .
It is decorated with blue transfer prints of the Broseley pattern .
It stands at " high and measures 10 1/4" in diameter from the spout to the handle .
A large piece of the flange is broken off , a section of the bottom edge below the spout has been broken off and repaired , this has a fine crack which extends upward to just above the two figures on the bridge , there is no glaze crazing .
There is a small firing flaw on the edge of the finial from when it was made .
