Magnificent Large Antique Handmade Figural Lace Tablecloth - 7.5 Ft Banquet Size

This is a museum-quality example of late Victorian / Edwardian era tape lace. It is entirely hand-stitched with exceptionally detailed figurative motifs. This is not machine-made lace. The irregular honeycomb net ground and handmade tape construction confirm it was worked by hand, likely taking months or years to complete.

This tablecloth is in good antique condition for its age and size. It is flexible with no brittle or shattering areas. The color is even with natural age toning. Figural pieces like this with women and cherubs are much harder to find and more collectible than floral-only lace.
