Hand-knit wool children's mittens featuring colorful depictions of the legendary frontiersman Davy Crockett with the name "DAVY CROCKETT" knitted across the cuffs. Exhibits moderate to heavy wear consistent with age and use. Wool fibers display overall fuzzing, pilling, thinning, and surface wear throughout. Both mittens exhibit holes and areas of loss, including a significant opening to the body of one mitten and wear-through at the thumb area. Evidence of previous darning is visible, as shown in the photographs. Knit cuffs remain intact but exhibit stretching and general age-related wear.
