Item Description: Up for auction is a vintage Japanese Fujita Model 7379 Seamless Super Soft Y.F.C. black leather saddle.

Condition - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This saddle is being sold strictly for display purposes, parts, or repair.

• The Good (Cosmetics): The top cover of the saddle is in fantastic cosmetic condition. The material is very clean with minimal wear, no major scuffs, and a nice vintage sheen. The side "Seamless Super Y.F.C." decals are still visible. From the top down, this saddle looks excellent and would be absolutely perfect for a vintage "carpet queen" display bike or museum build that will not be ridden.

• The Flaw (Structure): As shown in the detailed underside photos, the hard plastic/composite support housings where the rear rails insert into the saddle frame are severely cracked and broken. Because of this structural failure, this saddle is NOT SAFE FOR RIDING. It will not support a rider's weight.

Markings: The underside features the Fujita triangle logo, "MADE IN JAPAN", the 7379 model number, the JIS certification stamp, and standard patent stamps. Comes with the attached seatpost clamp shown in the photos.

If you are restoring a classic Japanese road bike, BMX or MTB bike for a showroom display and need a period-correct seat with a beautiful top cover, this is an excellent, budget-friendly candidate!
