Here is the TR-810, an 8 transistor set from Sony, circa 1959. These came in either a black cabinet with a brown and aluminum colored grill or in a cream cabinet, the more attractive being this cream example with its contrasting eggshell blue and aluminum colored grill. 

This example is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition. There are no cracks or chips on the plastic, and the crinkle type grill is in beautiful shape as opposed to the typical obnoxious wear on most sets. The radio comes in its somewhat worn box and works okay, receiving my local station at max volume after some hunting and fiddling with the dials. I have uploaded a video clip.

I have been collecting transistor radios and TVs for more than 25 years, and am now "thinning" my collection. Most are like new in the box, so keep an eye on my auctions!
