This Antique Chinese White brass Basin Bowl features ornate etching with intricate designs of clouds, birds, peonies and florals. It is Crafted with white brass I believe. I originally thought it might be silver. But there are no markings. It is unsigned. the bowl exudes elegance and traditional Asian charm. The white color adds a touch of purity and sophistication, making it a unique and decorative piece for any collection of Asian antiques.

It comes from the estate of Harry Sweatt of the Honeywell dynasty. They were world travelers and there were antiques from several generations in the Lake Minnetonka estate. It has some minor wear as shown.

It is 14 inches across and 3 1/2 inches deep. It looks like it is constructed in two pieces that are fitted together. The bowl is quite heavy.

It would make a beautiful display in any room. I was thinking about a fruit bowl or a table centerpiece.
