Double Sided Enamel Sign

This rare, wonderful "Ensign Cameras, Roll Films and Photographic Supplies Sold Here" die cut double sided enamel sign is in "as found" condition.
The sign would have hung outside a camera or photography shop advertising "Ensign" items and has a roll of film to either end.
There are the usual areas of enamel loses and "nibbles" to the edges and around the mounting holes, there are also patches of loss to the body on both sides, the larger of these have three small holes.
There are also the scuffs, stains, marks and scratches that you would expect from an item of this age and use.
I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.
The black embossed and yellow impressed lettering is still clear and legible and the colours have a good depth to them, the sign also has a fair gloss.

This is a fantastic piece of photographic history which would display superbly and grace any collection.
It measures 61 cm (24 inches) wide and 36 cm (14 1/4 inches) high.
