This is for an antique sterling silver vesta case from 1906. It has a dedication engraved on the front that reads ''Colour Sergeant Duncan, 2nd Scottish Rifles from E.B.F. 1910'. The silver carries a full set of hallmarks dating to Birmingham 1910 along with the initials H&A for Horton & Allday. The bezel is also marked 'Sirus Patent'. It is in excellent condition with light surface wear to the silver and a good tight fitting lid. It measures 60mm (2.3") x 35mm (1.3") and it has a suspension ring for hanging to a chain.
