Antique Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figure


Beautiful antique Victorian Staffordshire pottery figure depicting a young woman reclining upon a large King Charles Spaniel.


This hand-painted figure features rich iron-red and green decoration, an expressive female figure wearing a bonnet, detailed tree stump support, and applied bocage decoration around the base. The figure retains its original hand-painted decoration and glossy glaze.


The underside is unmarked, as commonly found on many Staffordshire figures of the period, with a vent hole from manufacture.

Very good antique condition.


* No obvious repairs noted. One small chip to the underside of the base

* Minor glaze skips and firing imperfections consistent with Victorian manufacture.
