Sterling Silver Scarf Slide Bolo Slide Royston Turquoise Southwestern Style
Here's a beautiful new sterling silver scarf slide with a stunning green turquoise stone from the Royston Mine in Nevada. The stone has different shades of green that grade into each other, along with a honey brown matrix. The colors will be really tough to capture on a photograph.
On the oxidized (darkened) base, the artist used silver curled flat wire and different sizes of silver dots to accentuate the stone. The "Figure 8" stay on the back will accommodate a thicker material scarf or thicker leathers for a bolo tie.
The slide is 1 5/16" wide and 1 1/2" tall.
The turquoise stone is 7/8" wide by 1 1/4" tall.
It weighs 18.1 g.
The inside diameter of the Figure 8 stay is 17 mm, or about 11/16".
This bolo tie was recently hand created by Don Norris who has been silversmithing since the 1970's.
