This Techkon SpectroDens Advanced is an excellent professional instrument for modern pressrooms, prepress departments and print quality control.
It combines a high-precision spectrophotometer and densitometer in one device and is ideal for CMYK density measurements, Lab color evaluation, ΔE calculations and CTP plate quality control (dot area %).
The 3.0 mm measuring aperture is ideal for measuring fine screen rulings, control patches, color bars and CTP plates.
The instrument also includes the built-in Pantone Coated and Pantone Uncoated electronic libraries, containing more than 1,700 Pantone reference colors in each library.
The instrument has been professionally verified using a BCRA Series II set of 12 ceramic reference tiles — the worldwide standard used by professional calibration and service laboratories.
Average Accuracy: ΔE = 0.30. A printed Diagnostics Report is included.
A ΔE value of 0.30 represents outstanding agreement with certified reference standards and confirms factory-level performance expected from a properly calibrated professional instrument.
