This is for a nice genuine Edwardian sterling silver coin purse from 1914. It is engraved on both sides and has a clasp on the top which keeps the purse closed firmly. It has the original link chain handle and finger loop and inside the purse has three compartments. The silver carries a full set of hallmarks dating to Birmingham 1914 along with the initials W.A. for William Adams. It is in very nice condition, with just the light wear you see, the engravings are nice and crisp, they are not rubbed or faded and it opens and close as it should, the stitching inside is good too, it all feels sturdy in there. There is a small darker patch on one side of the leather on the inside, and couple of tiny little dings right on the edge, but that's all, it has survived really well and as you can see displays beautifully. Closed the purse measures 75mm by 69mm not measuring the handle.
