Good News: We would like to announce that we have now included our well-known
ScanMaster-ELM for Windows software in the scope of delivery of the
UniCarScan UCSI-2100 adapter. The software has been slightly modified.
This only works with our original UniCarScan adapters and therefore does
not require registration. The name of the software has also been
adjusted - ScanMaster-UniCarScan. Simply install and use. All existing
customers can also install and use the software.
The software can be downloaded from the download area on our
homepage.
The software for windows supports multi-languages
ScanMaster-UniCarScan supports all OBDII protocols.
In addition to the standard OBD-2 scope, ScanMaster-ELM also supports the OBD-1 functions in older (before 2001) Opel and Alfa Romeo vehicles.

UniCarScan UCSI-2100 is a new, inexpensive OBD-2 diagnostic interface from WGSoft.de and is the successor to UCSI-2000. The device supports all OBD-2 diagnostic protocols for all current vehicles and, as a special feature, all diagnostic protocols for all BMW motorcycles. This adapter is ideal for the MotoScan app and is recommended by us directly for this Andriod app.
Ideally suited for PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets with both Android and iOS operating systems (various apps are available in the Android Play Store or Apple App Store). Based on a modern, powerful Cortex-M0 processor. Fully compatible with most ELM327 applications and ELM327 chip.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE!
In order to use the adapter with Apple devices, no pairing under Settings is required and is not possible. Open the settings of the Car Scanner or BimmerCode app directly and select “UniCarScan” adapter there. The MotoScan app is not available for iOS devices and is currently not planned.
For the app and software developers
Developers of apps for Android, iOS and Windows are welcome to use the adapter for their own apps. We are happy to provide the necessary documentation. Most commands are compatible with the ELM327 command set. However, the UniCarScan adapter offers the following advantages over all other comparable solutions:
The firmware is developed internally by us and can be adapted to the needs of the developer if necessary
The adapter supports the sending of long messages as well as the CAN bus via the K-Line and completely takes over the segmentation of the CAN messages when sending, so that you do not have any problems with timing when you send the long messages during encoding or other special functions must. The ELM327 and compatible adapters can only send 8 bytes by default. UniCarScan, on the other hand, has the full length of 255 bytes.
The adapter is suitable for Android, iOS and Windows. This means you don't have to use different adapters for different operating systems, as is the case with most other providers.
