They all interact with each other and it is lines from the Episode MIRROR ,MIRROR 
They do work on their own too with different Sayings 
When they are Talking ,i was stood there listening for about 5 mins and they were still talking to each other  before i stopped

you would also need to buy the power cord (green wire behind the figures ,) + a  AC Adaptor  with variable Setting ,normally it need to be set on 5V 
if you want a  power cord which fits up to 7 ornaments or figure .not just from Star trek there are other  i think there is a Frozen set 
The Cost of this is £45 (please ask for this as i can list one for you )
