Up for sale is a gorgeous, early 20th-century antique porcelain double-handled covered sugar bowl manufactured by the famous Reinhold Schlegelmilch factory in Tillowitz, Germany.
This piece features a beautifully soft, matte-finish cream background decorated with a lush, detailed transfer design of white and green hydrangeas. The upper rim, matching lid, and handle accents are heavily decorated with elaborate, bright gold gilt scrollwork.
The base bears two authentic historical backstamps:
- The classic blue/green RS Germany wreath and star mark.
- The red Reinhold Schlegelmilch Tillowitz Germany script mark.
