Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.

Up for sale is a rare 1987 Epiphone NVJ-NT Nouveau full acoustic archtop guitar in a beautiful Natural finish. Produced during the short-lived Nouveau Collection, this sought-after Japanese vintage model was manufactured with its core components in Japan and received its final assembly and finishing at the Gibson factory in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Production lasted only about three years, making it an uncommon collector's piece today.

This guitar features a laminated archtop body with an attractive bird's-eye maple figure on the sides and striking tiger-striped maple back. It has a comfortable, slightly thinner archtop body design, a single original floating neck-position humbucker, and simple controls consisting of 1 Volume and 1 Tone. The electronics operate properly with no scratchy controls.

The guitar remains in very good vintage playing condition. It shows minor surface marks, light dents, and normal cosmetic wear consistent with age. There is a professionally repaired crack on the neck that does not affect playability. The neck is straight with no noticeable warping, the strings play cleanly without buzzing, and the frets retain approximately 70–80% life remaining.
