Lightweight 1990s Seiko chrono with a party trick! The 7T52 Speedmaster Titanium combines a black sports dial, titanium case/bracelet and Seiko’s very over-engineered 1/100-second analogue chronograph.

Description

This is a very wearable Seiko Speedmaster Titanium 7T52-8000, with a black dial, titanium case and bracelet, fixed tachymeter bezel, date at 3 o’clock, and Seiko’s brilliant 1/100-second chronograph movement.

The titanium build is cool. It gives the watch real wrist presence without the usual stainless-steel weight, making it a strong daily-wear chronograph rather than just a collector-box curiosity.

About this model:

The 7T52 family belongs to Seiko’s great era of high-function analogue quartz chronographs. The headline feature is the 1/100-second stopwatch, giving the watch a more technical personality than most standard quartz chronographs of the period. This example adds the rarer and very wearable Titanium specification, with black dial, engraved tachymeter bezel and 10 bar caseback rating.

Important notes:

“Speedmaster” is the model/dial text used by Seiko on this chronograph and does not imply any Omega affiliation.
