Using tweezers, they shape the delicate filigree into intricate designs, often featuring flowers and butterflies.

Specialized artisans then apply enamel powders into the designs. When heated to 1500°F, these powders transform into vibrant, glass-like finishes. Each jewelry piece is either plated with 24kt gold or given an antique silver finish, and is stamped with "925" and "BG" to certify its authenticity.

The final step involves setting stones into the jewelry. Barbara incorporates a variety of unique stones, such as chrysocolla, serpentine, and exotic jasper, alongside semi-precious gems like peridot, amethyst, and turquoise. Completing a single piece can take two artisans 4 to 7 days, resulting in a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects exquisite craftsmanship and artistry.
