SIGNED ORIGINAL PERSONALIZED CHRISTMAS CARD
For sale here is a beautiful and INCREDIBLY rare piece of Hollywood Memorabilia.
Released on November of 1984, Supergirl, directed by the Jeannot Szwarc, tells the story of Superman's cousin, Kara, (Helen Slater) who arrives on Earth ready to fight for Truth, Justice and the American Way, like her cousin. In doing so, she crosses paths with the villainous Selena (Faye Dunaway) and her henchwoman Bianca (Brenda Vaccaro). The film also starred Hollywood elites Peter O'Toole and Mia Farrow.
The film was created to take advantage of the popularity of the ongoing Christopher Reeve Superman films, which this film was a direct part of. Producer Ilya Salkind was at the forefront of the series and the mind behind bringing them to the screen. The man whose vision started it all in 1973, when he came up with the idea of bringing the world's greatest hero to the big screen in the biggest way possible.
Presented here is a 1984 Christmas card from the desk of Superman & Supergirl Producer Ilya Salkind. It feature a reflective silver border, matching the theme of the entire series starting from the first Superman film, surrounding a beautiful image of Helen Slater as Supergirl overlooking a sunlit lake.
The interior of the card features the famous 'S' symbol and the preprinted greeting "Best wishes for Christmas and a super New Year" followed by Mr. Salkind's preprinted name, as these were his personalized Christmas cards.
Mr. Salkind then personalized the card himself in ink with "May 1984 bring you happiness and peace, Ilya."
This is an absolutely amazing find for any Superman or Supergirl fan or collector. A truly unique piece that you will likely never come across again.

We are not professional graders, and honestly, we don't have much use for them as condition is highly subjective and the grading services' opinions are about as accurate as anyone else's. The high-res photos we post will let the item speak for itself. You decide the condition. If we see any major defects, we try to list them. We consider "major" defects to be rips, tears, missing pages and the like. Those can clearly be seen in the photos we provide, and it is for you, not us, to determine how much they affect the presentation of the item.
MAJOR DEFECTS: As seen in the photo, the card features a few dings and creases. It is being sold as is, and as is usually the case with the these types of items, the condition is secondary. Finding one in any condition at all is a miracle.

Any item that is individually numbered or "one of a kind" may be returned provided the request is made within the aforementioned 48 hour window AND the item does not match the description.

Shipping Policy
Domestic shipping, handling, supply costs and everything else are included in the price of all "buy it now" sales.
International Sales shipping is calculated based on location and those sales are handled solely through eBay International and all rules and policies regarding international orders are addressed through eBay. Once an international shipment leaves our hand, its officially in yours.
I don't lie. I don't try to put one over on my buyers. I don't attempt to conceal costs with fake handling costs or exorbitant shipping hikes. Shipping is already exorbitant and shipping supplies aren't cheap, either.
It says FREE SHIPPING. It isn't. It's just included in my pricing.
For all auction items, the winning bidder will pay the listed shipping price as stated in the auction...typically USPS priority mail.
