VTG Sterling Turquoise Ring Size 8 Heavy Gauge Oval Double Bezel Native American
This is an outstanding sterling silver and turquoise ring with many great elements to it. The artist used a striking turquoise cabochon with a smoky blue color with a green-ish stone matrix. The serrated bezel is surrounded with silver rope, and then a heavy silver base, creating a double bezel look to it. The shank is wider and heavier than is typical, and splits into four channels to support the base.
The ring is a size 8.
The shank is 3/16" wide.
The ring face is 9/16" wide, 1 1/4" long, and about 1/4" deep.
It weighs 12.3 g.
There is an artist's hallmark, which is L. Hill etched on the back. Given the design and construction, it is likely Navajo crafted.
