This is a 1947 token commemorating the completion of the Mill Creek Barrier Damn and the 10th anniversary of the great flood of January 24,1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio that became known as "Black Sunday". The Mill Creek Barrier Damn was built by the Army Corp of Engineers. This token was issued by the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. 

This token measures 1 1/8" across.

Obverse: "DEDICATION OF MILL CREEK BARRIER DAMN / JANUARY 24, 1947 / TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF BLACK SUNDAY / WE PLAN TO GROW / LET'S GO"

Reverse: Pictures the Seal of the City of Cincinnati and is captioned, "CINCINNATI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE / JUNCTA JUVANT"
