An original cardboard box containing 15 vintage dip pen nibs – MacNiven & Cameron’s – No: 607 Manifold. Manifold nibs were specialised nibs designed to create carbon copies. Each nib has the wording “Macniven & Cameron MANIFOLD Birmingham - England”. The box measures approx 6.2cm x 5cm x 1cm and has a tight fitting drawer. The blue, orange, white and black printed label has the wording “Macniven & Cameron’s World Renowned Pens No. 607 MANIFOLD”. The original paper seal has “1 Shilling sign – Inclusive of Purchase tax” written at each end. The nibs are all unused, but 10 have some oxidisation/ rust spots/ they might have got damp over the years; the box has minor rubs on the bottom.
