Here's a magnificent vintage sterling silver belt buckle with a wonderful duck-in-nature pictorial. On a heavy gauge silver base, the artist used mother of pearl, coral, abalone and jet to create the ducks. The gemstone pieces sit a little above the base of the belt, creating a 3D effect. Abalone and brown shell were used for the cattails, while turquoise is set for the trees in the background. The edge of the belt is hand stamped.

The buckle is 3  5/8" wide and 2  3/8" tall.

The buckle loop will fit up to a 1  5/8" belt.

It weighs a notable 74 g.

The artist signed this piece, "Roland Eustace" a Zuni silversmith. This piece was likely created in the mid-1970s.
