The Bronze Edition was not simply an RS4 with a few bronze-coloured details added to it. Audi created it as a complete limited-production model, priced from £82,395 when new and supplied in one carefully chosen configuration. Each UK car features distinctive 20-inch bronze-milled wheels, matt carbon exterior detailing, black exterior trim, the RS sports exhaust and an interior developed specifically to continue the bronze theme. With only 25 produced for this market, it is one of the rarest versions of the B9 RS4 Avant. This particular example has been sold because its previous owner needed to free up funds for his business, and he was genuinely gutted to part with it. That gives the sale a very straightforward background: the car was not being replaced because he had fallen out of love with it, but because business had to take priority. A Ghost immobiliser has also been fitted, adding useful extra security to such a rare Audi. The Bronze Edition interior is far more individual than the usual black RS4 cabin. Black Fine Nappa leather super sport seats carry bronze contrast stitching, with the same detail continuing across the steering wheel, gear selector area, centre-console trim and armrests. Matt carbon twill inlays run through the cabin, while the Alcantara door cards and Audi Exclusive detailing give the interior a finish that was created specifically for this edition rather than assembled from unrelated options. The exterior follows the same theme. Matt carbon is used for the front lip spoiler, mirror housings and rear diffuser, while the grille, front air-intake surrounds, window trim, roof rails and oval exhaust outlets are finished in black. The bronze-milled wheels provide the contrast and are the detail that makes the Edition immediately recognisable. It is a distinctive factory combination and one Audi produced in exceptionally small numbers. Audi also equipped the Bronze Edition generously as standard. The Comfort and Sound Package includes the 360-degree camera, Advanced Key, hands-free powered tailgate, extended configurable ambient lighting and the 755-watt Bang & Olufsen system with 19 speakers. Matrix LED headlights, massaging front seats, the Audi Virtual Cockpit, three-zone climate control and blind-spot assistance add the comfort and technology expected from a flagship RS4. The mechanical specification includes the 444hp 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6, quattro four-wheel drive, eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox, quattro sports differential and RS sports exhaust. The configurable RS1 and RS2 modes allow two preferred combinations of steering, drivetrain and exhaust settings to be stored and selected directly from the steering wheel. The Bronze Edition was not given extra power over the standard RS4; Audi instead concentrated on creating a rarer, more distinctive and more comprehensively equipped version. Its maintenance record is predominantly Audi main dealer, with regular oil servicing, inspections, brake fluid and spark plugs recorded. We will carry out a further specialist service before sale, including oil, inspection, pollen filter, air filter and brake fluid. It sits on Pirelli tyres all round, with particularly lovely front brakes and the rears remaining in very good order. This is a genuine 25-car UK factory edition with its defining bronze wheels, matt carbon treatment, bronze-stitched interior, enhanced audio, sports exhaust and strong Audi service record.
